I don't use the feature because you can only view the results on screen for one active window. It can't switch between each of the running searches to see how they're doing. It has a useful feature if you've a list of keyword phrases, but don't want to type them in all individually. Create a simple text file in notepad, then run a query using it and Adword Analyzer reads your keyword's from the file. In this mode it only returns results for the keyword phrases in the file it does not look for variations. Results can be saved in one of three ways, just the keyword's, as a complete html page ( so links to Google & Overture pages remain ), or saved to a csv file. I use the csv format the most because it enables you to import the data into Excel where you can do a lot more manipulation of the results, combining them with the Wordtracker & Niche Finder analyzer data.
Let's return to the example keyword phrase 'child toy.' Using Adword Analyzer on this phrase returned 100 keyword phrase variations. A comprehensive keyword phrase query of 'child toy' on Wordtracker gave 99 variations of which 5 were considered irrelevant. Adword Analyzer as a keyword generator added another 96 (43.3%) new expressions containing "child toy" and small variations. You can see that Adword Analyzer has more than doubled our choice of keyword phrases. That's 94 from Wordtracker to 94 + 96 from Adword Analyzer, or 190 on just the two words 'child toy.' What's worth keeping in mind is that most of these 190 keyword phrases are not just theoretical variations of the original words, but what real people used as queries on live search engine's over a previous month. It's not possible to say all 190 were in real use because 8 of the Wordtracker results gave a zero count, or no searches. Real searches were reported for the remaining 182, that's 86 for Wordtracker and all 96 from Adword Analyzer. For Wordtracker, Adword Analyzer and NicheFinder in the final part of this comparison review:Which keyword analyzer, Wordtracker, Adword Analyzer, NicheFinder ? I explain why you'll get different results, apply some corrections and see if one keyword analyzer is enough. This should make you think about the way you use these tools.
