It's simple to use with a few useful filter options built into its settings. As a keyword generator the number of keyword phrases it will try to find is adjustable from 1 to 500. It's possible to set the maximum number of words in a keyword phrase from 1 to 3. An adjustable relevancy filter will try to factor out results that stray to far from the keyword's or topic you enter. Like Adword Analyzer you need to connect to the Internet to use it. The keyword analyzer presents the results in a variety of different tables viewed as an html web page. It also automatically saves the results to a delimited csv file that may be imported into Excel to further act as an analyzer on the data. It provides raw results on keyword phrases in the form of "Supply" & "Demand" analyzing the raw results to provide logarithmic conversions and ratios that present the data in a more useable form. It has it's own rating index for keyword phrases it calls "Potential." This is a measure of how promising the phrase is based on the competition and number of searches. A keyword phrase not found could still be used elsewhere on the web. I found Niche Finder a useful addition to my arsenal of software tools, particularly when it comes to brain storming new product ideas or as a finder of niche markets. In some ways it's similar to Adword Analyzer in that it uses Overture for its data, but provides the search results in a different form. Being able to see the location of sites it's accessing I find useful when doing niche market research.
